ACCS at the 27th Australian Conference on Microscopy & Microanalysis (ACMM27)

February 13, 2023

ACCS team (WP3 and WP4 leads) attended the 27th Australian Conference on Microscopy & Microanalysis (ACMM27) in Perth, WA, on 29 January – 2 February 2023.

The conference brought together researchers and microscopy facility staff across the life and physical sciences, to showcase the latest discovery findings, discuss trends and present recent technique development in light, electron and correlative microscopy. The conference program included oral and poster presentations as well as pre- and post-conference workshops.

ACMM27 was a fantastic opportunity for the ACCS team to engage with the Australian microscopy community, the first time in person since the pandemic with such a diversity in expertise and research topics.

WP3 and WP4 presented a poster featuring the EM Data Processing Portal, which is an outcome of WP4. The poster was a chance to promote this new capability to all researchers who use CryoSPARC or LiberTEM.

Overall, the portal received great support from the community and was seen as a promising new tool that will enable research in the era of big-data microscopy.

For more information about this new capability, please visit the EM Data Processing Portal.
